The storytelling campfire
A campfire in the open air at night where I will tell stories and myths with a more modern touch. Bring a blanket, get some tea and listen. And tell! The fire and the stories belong to us all.
Imagine sitting wrapped in a blanket together with a friend around a campfire. Hearing its' pops and sparks, it's warmth radiating into you. The night is chill but not right where your are. At the other side of the fire stands a storyteller. "There once was a miller who had three sons...". And through the magic of your imagination helped along by the storyteller you see the millers sons. You see the cat in its' boots. The ogre, the castle.
Oral storytelling is perhaps the original interactive co-creative act, as it is the dynamic dance between the teller, the listener and the story. As that I want to bring this to the Urban Burn.
A storytelling nerd who want to share my passion for the classical campfire story space. I will most likely not be able to hold myself from telling stories in other places as well. But some stories are born near fire.
Either by bringing their own stories to the fire, or by suggesting stories that they'd like to hear me tell. (A bit ahead of time if you could as I may have to read up on it)
And to bring firewood if they have some spare lying around!
And by bringing Blankets! I have my fair share but a few extra will never go amiss! The spring is cold an the ice giant may or may not have left us!
Congratulations! You've stumbled upon something special. Urban Burn Stockholm is a platform that allows you to share your dreams.
